A relaxed guided evening tour from Satava into the Turku archipelago: close to the city, already among islands and sheltered waters, and easy to join without previous kayaking skills.

No previous experience is needed in suitable conditions. The guide adapts the pace and chooses sheltered water according to weather.

A small evening escape

This is the easy evening version of the archipelago: a guided tour from Satava with basic introduction, sheltered water choices and a pace adapted to the group. No previous kayaking skills are needed in suitable conditions.

The tour starts from Satava Kayak & SUP on Satava island, reachable by bus, car or bicycle from Turku centre.

Is this suitable for beginners

Yes. The tour is designed as an accessible guided experience, with instruction and a route selected for the conditions.

Where does it start

From our small paddleshack Satava Kayak & SUP, just 15 minutes by bus or car from Turku center and 30 minutes by bicycle from the main square in Turku. See the bus schedule here.

What should I wear

Wear outdoor clothing suitable for the weather, avoid cotton next to the skin in cool weather, and bring a spare warm layer.

Can it be cancelled because of weather

Routes are adapted to conditions. If wind or weather is unsuitable for safe delivery, Aavameri will contact guests about alternatives.
