Satava Kayak & SUP is Aavameri’s self-service paddleshack at Kakskerrantie 680. Reach it by bus, bicycle or car. Online rental customers receive instructions and a lock code after booking.

Choose equipment below for a few hours, a half-day or one day of paddling from Satava. You receive a text message and email confirmation with self-service instructions.
2. UNLOCK
Open the lock with the code you received through a text message. The lock code works from the exact start to the exact end of your rental hours.
3. ENJOY
Enjoy paddling and stay safe. Be back and open the lock before the rental time ends. Return the equipment clean and free of sand to the shack.

Can a beginner rent a kayak?
Not without prior rescue and kayak handling skills. If you are new to sea kayaking, choose a guided evening tour, a guided day tour or a kayaking course.
Can a beginner join a guided tour?
Yes. Evening and day tours can be adapted for beginners when conditions are suitable.
What equipment is included in the rental?
Standard rental includes sea kayak or SUP board, paddle, spraydeck for kayaks and paddling PFD. It does not include camping equipment, cooking equipment, tents, sleeping bags, dry bags or expedition equipment.
How do I receive the lock code?
The booking confirmation includes the self-service instructions and lock-code details. The code works for the exact time of your booking.
Is this the best place to start a multi-day kayaking expedition?
Not usually. Satava is excellent for day trips, but most multi-day expeditions into the Archipelago Sea or Archipelago National Park are better if you start farther out in the archipelago. Our Self-guided Expedition packages include transport, camping equipment, route planning, maps, safety briefing and practical advice.
Can I rent camping equipment together with the kayak?
No. Camping equipment is available only as part of our Self-guided Expedition packages.
